1. Uninstall the program

2. Select File Manager

3. Click on File then Search: Search from: should be C:\ Search for: type in: CTL3DV2.DLL. Then OK.

4. This should find any ctl3dv2.dll files located on your system. Highlight the file and then click on File and rename file to ctl3dv2.old In Rename To: Type in the entire path (example: C:\windows\system\ctl3dv2.old). Then click on OK

5. Close file manager and reinstall the program.

Files in Use error message may occur when you try to rename the CTL3DV2.dll file if the file is being used by another application.

 

Files In Use

If you receive the message "Files in Use" when you try to rename the CTL3DV2.dll file, please follow these instructions for exiting the computer to DOS and renaming the file in DOS:

1. Click on Start and then Shutdown. Select Restart Computer in MS-DOS.

2. The computer will restart at the C:\Windows prompt. Type CD System. Hit Enter.

3. At the C:\windows\system prompt type Ren CTL3DV2.dll *.old Hit Enter.

4. Reenter Windows by typing Win

5. Reinstall the program.

2. Click on Start and go to Find Files

3. In the name box, enter CTL3DV2.DLL then click on Find Now

4. This should find any ctl3dv2.dll files located on your system. Highlight the ctl3dv2.dll file in the windows\system directory.

5. Click on File and then rename. Now with the file highlighted hit the left arrow key and change the dll to old to rename the file to ctl3dv2.old. Hit enter

6. Click on File and Exit to close this box.

7. Reinstall the program.

Files in Use error message may occur if the ctl3dv2.dll file is being used by another application.
