Step 1

INSTALL DISK 1
1: Insert disk 1, labelled "Install Base for Windows," into the floppy disk drive
2: In the Windows Program Manager, click on File and then choose "Run"
3: At the command line type a:\acroread.exe This installs the Adobe Acrobat Reader onto your C drive.
4: Follow on-screen instructions
5: After the Acrobat icon appears, the first disk installation is complete.
6: Remove disk 1

Step 2:

INSTALL DISK 2 (COPY CAREPLAN FILE TO HARD DISK)
1: Insert Disk 2
2: From Program Manger, double click on the "Main" group icon
3: Double click on "File Manager"
4: Click once on drive letter A:
5: On the right hand side of the screen, click once on the filename "careplan.pdf"
6: From the File Menu, choose Copy
7: In the second box, type c:\careplan.pdf and then click OK
8: From the File Menu choose Exit

Step 3:

CREATE A PROGRAM GROUP ICON
1: In Program Manager, open the File Menu and choose "New"
2: Make sure "Program Group" is selected and click "OK"
3: In the "Description" box type: Mosby Careplans. Leave the second box blank.
4: From the File menu, choose "New"
5: Choose "Program Item" and click OK
6: In the Description box type: Careplans
7: In the command line type c:\careplan.pdf
8: In the "working directory" box type c:\
9: Click OK.
10: Installation is complete. Double click on the Careplans icon within the Mosby Careplans Group will launch the program.

OPTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:
If you would like to run Careplan without installing Disk 2 onto your hard drive, launch the program using disk 2 as follows. [Note that Disk 1 must be installed on the hard drive.]

RUN CAREPLAN PROGRAM - DISK 2
1: Insert Disk 2
2: From Program Manager, click on File then choose "Run"
3: At the command line type a:\careplan.pdf to launch the program

Each time you want to run the Mosby Careplan program, please follow DISK 2 Instructions from above.

Step 1:

INSTALL DISK 1
1: Insert disk 1, labelled "Install Base for Windows," into the floppy disk drive

5: After the diskette has finished installing, a message will prompt you to restart the computer
6: After the computer restarts, remove disk 1

Step 2:

INSTALL DISK 2
1: Insert Disk 2 into your floppy drive
2: Click on Start, then click on Run.
3: Type winfile and hit Enter
4: You are now in the File Manager. Click on your A: drive
5: On the right hand side of the screen, click once on the filename careplan.pdf
6: Click on File (from top of screen) and then choose Copy
7: In the second box, type c:\careplan.pdf and then click OK
8: Click on File and then Exit

Step 3:

CREATE A PROGRAM GROUP ICON (or Shortcut)
1: Click the RIGHT mouse button on Start.
2: Click on Open
3: Double Click on Programs
4: Click on File.
5: Select New.
6: Select Shortcut
7: At the command line type c:\careplan.pdf and hit Enter
8: You will be prompted for the Name of the shortcut. Type Careplan and hit Enter
9: Installation is complete. Now Careplan is one of your program items. Click on Start and then Programs and to find Careplan among your list of program items.

OPTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:
To run Careplan without loading Disk 2 to your hard drive, please follow these instructions each time you wish to use the software. [Note that Disk 1 must be installed on the hard drive.]

RUN CAREPLAN PROGRAM - DISK 2
1: Insert Disk 2
2: Click on Start then choose "Run"
3: Type a:\careplan.pdf to launch the program.

Step 1:

INSTALL DISK 1
1: Insert Disk 1 into the floppy disk drive
2: Double click on "AcroRead.mac" to install
3: Follow on-screen instructions
4: After the program has finished installing, a message will say Restart
5: After restarting the computer, remove disk 1

Step 2:

INSTALL DISK 2
1: Insert Disk 2
2: Copy the icon "CarePlan.mac" by dragging it to your hard drive
3: After the diskette has finished installing, drag the CarePlan.mac icon to the trash
4: Installation is now complete
5: To launch the program, open your hard drive and double click on the CarePlan.mac folder
6: Double click on CarePlan.pdf
