Responsible for implementing the strategic vision and architecture needs to create an e-learning platform to support all online learning initiatives for the Health Science Division. These initiatives range from traditional academic publishing programs to evolving clinical and continuing education applications. The position will be responsible for day-to-day management of the ongoing development of the division's e-learning platform or "Courseware" program. Reporting to the Director of Emerging product Platforms, this position will work in coordination with Sr. Management and staff across the division to analyze business and industry trends and evaluate best processes for developing and deploying the program. Qualifications: Candidate should have 5-8 years in publishing (including 3-5 electronic products), medical/scientific a plus, multiple media development and/or healthcare information systems development a big plus (can be in place of STM publishing experience). 3-5 years experience implementing electronic product strategies and managing operational activities. Project management, and financial management experience a must. Excellent perception, communication and problem solving skills; proven analytical, writing and presentation experience. Familiarity and high comfort level with various computer systems and electronic publishing technologies.
