Manages the development of assigned medical books/electronic products. Works with acquisitions editor/marketing to develop market-responsive products. Guides authors in technical aspects of ms preparation; reviews and prepares ms for release to production; monitors length and schedules; works with production to ensure timely publication of key books. Two to five years’ publishing experience; book experience preferred. Must be well organized, detail oriented, able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Must be flexible, creative, resourceful, decisive and able to work independently without supervision. High level of author contact required. BA in English, Liberal Arts, Sciences or related experience.
