Works with publishing director(s) and publishers to develop and review budgets, forecasts, and new product pro formas. Works with Finance and IT Staff to understand ES Finance and systems. Needs to ensure that appropriate Medicine SBU information is provided and received, including accurate and timely reports such as circulation statements, profit and loss statements, society royalty statements, audit performance, etc. Access and review PeopleSoft (or other software) and database of journal titles on monthly basis for appropriate posting/coding. Reviews monthly profit and loss reports, identifies variances and analyzes them to find problems such as slippage, individual title volume shortfalls, specific channel or market weaknesses, etc. Work closely with revenue-posting departments.
