Manages the development of a list of assigned medical books. Works with acquisitions editors and marketing to develop market-responsive products. Guides authors in the technical aspects of ms preparation; reviews and prepares ms for release to production; monitors schedule and length; works with production to ensure timely publication of key titles. Two to five years of publishing experience; book experience preferred. Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple highly complex projects simultaneously. Must be flexible and learn quickly. High level of author contact required. BA in English / Liberal Arts or Sciences, or equivalent work experience.
