Sales Manager, Community-Based Education

Manages a team of educational sales reps responsible for selling to Community-based EMS training sites, high schools, and long term care facilities. Develops and implements sales strategies to maximize sales. Hires and provides on-going training for sales representatives. Travels with reps to State and National meetings as needed. Works closely with Marketing to ensure the timely production and mailing of catalogs and brochures pertinent to assigned Special Markets. Manages Special Markets HAWK database for accurate and useful data in the formats necessary for selling and marketing to EMS, High Schools, and LTC facilities. Conducts annual performance reviews. Provides input for sales estimating. Pursues textbook state adoptions in the high school market and manages depository sales/contracts. Qualifications: College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least three years of previous work experience in sales or marketing. Excellent oral and written communication skills needed. Leadership skills and an enthusiasm to drive sales revenues a must.
