Assists in formulating and implementing developmental plan according to company standards and market needs. Maintains appropriate author contact to ensure schedule adherence. Processes and transmits materials for print and electronic products to production to ensure timely publication. Acts as information resource to ensure successful marketing of products. Must frequently shift focus among multiple tasks, and be able to work in a noisy environment with frequent interruptions. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively by phone. Must have good organizational and problem solving skills. Some travel. Qualifications: College degree strongly preferred with emphasis in English, liberal arts, sciences or business or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer two years of publishing-related experience.
