Marketing Manager
Department: HP 1 Marketing

Prepares sales forecasts for new product at contract proposal, preliminary and final pricing stages. Prepares annual and five-year sales forecasts for assigned products. Coordinates product pricing and print quantities. Monitors inventory to avoid shortages or excesses. Reviews field marketing reports and utilizes sales inquiry system. Oversees the development of a comprehensive marketing plan by title to ensure maximum sales through all sales channels. Analyses markets to develop selected marketing plan. Coordinates the preparation of all necessary sales tools prior to sales conferences. Oversees the development of competitive and internal product information. Develops procedures and sources of collecting information and handles its dissemination to the sales staff. Qualifications: Superior organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's Degree plus at least five years sales, marketing or editorial experience in publishing required. Additional experience in medical publishing is desirable.
