* All medications require a prescription, but these are classified as schedule II drugs (like morphine), and each filling requires a written prescription that includes the patient's name and address, the practitioner's DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) number, and the date. The prescription must be filled within 5 days.

Aspirin is not recommended for children because of its possible association with Reye syndrome.
